Perhaps you have personally experienced the death of a loved one early in life, or have observed the devastating affects it had on someone close to you. You are intimately acquainted with the challenges of grief.

Fundraising Ambassadors believe strongly in our mission. They help us in two ways:

1. Recruiting New Monthly Partners – We send you a group of business cards which introduces the FGC to prospective monthly financial partners. You can then place your name on the card as our Fundraising Ambassadors, keeping them in your wallet or purse. As you go about your day, engaging others in conversation, you may find that an opening occurs when you can introduce us. You can then hand them a card, encourage their partnership and ask them to visit our website, click on the Network for Good button and following the easy instructions to become our monthly partner.

If you’d like to become a Fundraising Ambassador and receive cards to hand out, please email us.

2. Holding Fundraising Events – As a Fundraising Ambassador, you or your organization develops a personal plan to hold a fundraising event. You might invite family, friends, neighbors, classmates and business colleagues to a gathering/event at your home, office, club, sorority or faternity, serving anything from tea to snacks to dinner for the purpose of raising money for the foundation and sharing your story.

Nothing is more powerful than sharing your personal testimony about how a particular death changed your life forever.

At the end of the event, you will ask for their generous donation or for them to become monthly partners with us. You might collect checks made payable to the Foundation for Grieving Children, Inc. along with each donor's name, address, phone and email information. You can then forward all the contributions in one envelope, along with a description of the event and its hosts, to our office for processing and acknowledgments.

Or you can have your laptop or desktop computer available throughout the event so your guests can visit our website and sign up as a monthly partner with us through Network for Good.

And when all your guests have left for the evening, you will feel wonderful knowing that there are children who will receive support services because of your hard work and effort. And although you may never meet them personally, you will have made a significant contribution to grieving children who now struggle with the same pain you or someone you loved endured at a different place and time.

To honor the great work of our Fundraising Ambassadors and our Partners we will be displaying their names on our website.

The Foundation for Grieving Children, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit public charity. All donations are tax-deductible.
